He was bored this morning, elated in the Coliseum, and now he honestly felt like he should just wander into the caves and blow some shit up before he did much else. He would've been fine if it wasn't for the last bit- Lucretia showing up was bad enough, but Lup running off to hang out after everything he told her stung worse than he thought it would.
